Description of Services: Emergency hostel * provides temporary emergency housing for homeless men in Brampton and Caledon * serves up to 60 men * 16 of the 84 available beds are reserved for special-needs individuals * individuals can stay in one of the Region's emergency shelter for two weeks after which they must apply for Ontario Works assistance

Shelter provides:
  • emergency lodging, food and clothing
  • employment and housing support
  • financial assistance from Ontario Works
  • health clinics
  • mental health and addiction support
  • life skills training
  • recreation
  • AA meetings
  • pastoral care
Peel Family Shelters are owned and operated by the Region of Peel

Salvation Army manages daily programming and staffing

Ontario Works provides financial assistance to residents
