Description of Services: Provide part-day supervised recreational activities in the community for people with physical or cognitive challenges, as well as people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias * services may include leisure activities, meals, and personal care

Program availability: 
  • partial or full-day programming on weekdays 
  • extended evening and weekend hours at select locations 
  • programming in various languages at some locations
  • wide variety of programs and activities (exercise programs, recreational activities, group discussions, art and craft, music programs, etc.)

There are 10 Adult Day Programs in the region, offered at 15 locations (see website for more information)

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: High risk seniors and adults 18 years of age and over with non-medical needs who can be effectively supported by qualified staff * has valid OHIP health card * assessment to determine eligibility will be provided
