Description of Services: Hospital inpatient program for adults with an acquired brain injury who display challenging behavioural and/or mental health issues that prevent them from participating in conventional rehabilitation programs * interdisciplinary team addresses patients' cognitive and physical needs along with concurrent behaviour management

Fees: Covered by OHIP
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People 16 years and older with an acquired brain injury who display challenging behavioural and/or mental health issues * must have physical and cognitive abilities that will allow for active participation in a rehabilitation program * must be reasonably likely to achieve stated functional goals within estimated hospital length of stay * must be medically stable with no significant fluctuation in medical status within 72 hours before admission * must have a viable community discharge plan or repatriation agreement
