Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for older adults in Halton * enhances independence and quality of life * support to families who are providing care * transportation is not included in program fee (participants and their caregivers are responsible for getting to and from the adult day program) * Day Program Coordinators assist with linking clients and families to various transportation providers
Silver Creek Place (Georgetown) - Beneficial for community-based older adults and disabled adults who require mental and social stimulation, require assistance or supervision with their activities of daily living, or have caregivers who require caregiver relief * accommodates 15 clients on weekdays and 8 clients on Saturday * monthly caregiver support group |
